Stjernekigger 2021

The course Stargazer is one of the badge courses from DDS, and it will thus be the fourth time we have to try it. It will be super exciting and we leaders are already looking forward 

“As scouts, we are outside - even when the sun has gone down and it is getting dark around us. This course is about becoming familiar with the darkness and experiencing some of the magic of the night - and ideally also the starry sky. ”

Kl. 17.00: We meet at Lisbjerghytten. Here we say goodbye to the parents and the scouts and leaders put up the tents.

We spend some time unpacking, getting our sleeping places ready in the tents and then otherwise play and have fun before we have to cook on the fire.

After dinner, we will go out and look at the night sky and see if we can find some stars and recognize some constellations that we have practiced at the scout meeting. We must also try to listen to the sounds of the forest when it is dark and see if we can hear / see some nocturnal animals such as bats.

Then it's time for a little campfire before we go in the sleeping bags and sleep in the tents.

We get up and make a good breakfast by the fire and have fun before we start cleaning and packing the bags.

We end at Lisbjerghytten at 10.00, where there will be coffee for the parents, when they pick-up the scouts.

Packing list
